The System

The System is a late night venue based in Neepsend, Sheffield, formed by two local promoters alongside the owner of small cap venue Alder. Housed in the former Toolmakers Brewery, the main focus surrounds sound system culture, grassroots music and Sheffield’s independent scene. The venue hosts a mix of club nights, live shows and community-led events with programming spanning anywhere between Jazz & Jungle. Housing a beefy OHM twin stack, they also welcome guest sound systems for nights ranging from reggae, dub, techno, house, and electronica to more ambient and experimental music. With local heads performing alongside household names within the scene, they aim to offer a diverse and interesting programme throughout the year.
