Dryad Works

Dryad Works is an independent grassroots music and creative venue based in Neepsend, Sheffield.

Built inside a former industrial works, Dryad has grown from a DIY warehouse space into one of Sheffield’s alternative homes for underground electronic music, sound system culture and independent promoters.

Established in 2018, the venue has remained fiercely independent, hosting everything from intimate community parties to internationally recognised artists and labels, alongside supporting Sheffield’s next generation of DJs, producers and promoters.

At the heart of Dryad is a simple ethos: good music, proper sound systems and a space where people can do things differently. The venue is home to the semi-permanent Sinai Sound System and combines raw industrial surroundings with purpose-built production, lighting and event spaces.

Away from events, Dryad Works is also a working creative building housing studios, workshops and independent businesses.
