Hallamshire Hotel

Based on West Street – the beating heart of Sheffield’s night-life scene, Hallamshire Hotel is a late night bar and Music Hall that has quickly returned to its roots as a key cornerstone to the Sheffield musical community. Over two floors and a beautiful beer garden, the Hallamshire Hotel offers something for everyone. You can grab a cocktail in the gorgeously furnished downstairs bar area that feels like something out Stanley Kubrick’s brain, head upstairs to catch an underplay in the beautiful 100 capacity Music Hall before heading back downstairs to boogie the night away with live DJs on the dance floor!

Famed through the 80s and 90s as a real cultural landmark for musicians in Sheffield and beyond, The Hally played host to many artists that went on to become household names (yes that includes Pulp about 12 times!). Whilst the venue has changed significantly since its return as Hallamshire Hotel in 2024, the grassroots ethos that made the original so important is retained in the newer iteration. Working with a wide range of Sheffield based, national and international promoters, Hallamshire Hotel hosts a variety of different types of gigs and clubnights to suit everyone.
